The development team leader for Frankel Enterprises, Jena Douglas, has an extensive background in communication and business. As part of the executive staff for the Illinois Secretary of State offices, the Governor of Illinois, and the state’s public health department, Jena worked with multiple agencies to coordinate responses to critical issues while also promoting new initiatives impacting the state of Illinois.   These skills helped her transition back to Florida as she rejoined one of the area’s leading architectural firms helping to generate and to create a different working environment process.

Now a licensed building contractor, Jena is intimately acquainted with many aspects of the real estate industry and is passionate about architectural design.  As such, she has partnered in new luxury residential developments, has overseen the construction of custom single-family homes, and has been involved in the renovation of both commercial and residential spaces.

Highly proficient in project coordination with a keen eye for detail, Jena sees the possibility and uniqueness in every project to help create individual and custom spaces for her clients from the first day of design through the completion of the project.

When not working, Jena loves being outside in the Florida sunshine and enjoys spending leisure time with her four children. She’s also committed to staying fit and often participates in yoga classes and other fitness-related activities to help her maintain a healthy lifestyle.
